Iranian Space Agency will probably try to perform first launch of their new medium launch vehicle called Simorgh SLV with Dosti microsatellite on atop. Launch is probably scheduled for March or April 2016. Unfortunately there is no official technical specification and information about rocket varies depending on sources. Rocket length is approximately 25 m to 27 m. Mass is around 80 t and payload capacity around 180 kg to 350 kg for LEO. Rocket is based on two liquid fueled stages equipped with modernized propulsion from Safir launch vehicle. Payload in maiden flight of Simorgh will be weighing 50 kg remote sensing satellite Dosti.
